Job Elements: -
• Perform product test programmes as directed and in accordance with supplied specifications. These will include climatic, salt, spray, humidity, vibration, performance.
• Record results of tests and report findings and status
• Plan work load and test equipment capacity.
• Conduct routine maintenance on test and other equipment
• Maintain the record retention system in line with company procedures
• Ensure the laboratory is maintained to a satisfactory level of housekeeping
• Carry out work safely in the interests of other employees and yourself, in compliance with current legislation and health and safety procedures.

• Ideally previous product test experience gained within a laboratory environment.
• Ability to communicate with customers
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good level of numeracy
• Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workload
• Mature attitude to work with the ability to take the initiative
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast moving automotive environment
• High commitment to quality (working to QS/ISO9000 standards)
• IT skills
