The Role:
• Perform routine quality control functions.
• Perform electrical signal inspection.
• Report test results to QC Manager.
• Entering test data into computer system.
• Investigate cause of production defect and take action to co-ordinate improvements.
• Review, update or create QC procedures in accordance with ISO9001.
• Analyze product quality and work to improve quality yield.
• Perform additional duties and projects required by the QC Manager.
What the company is looking for in the successful candidate:
• HNC Engineering would be desirable.
• Previous Quality Control experience essential.
• Experience of working in a high volume manufacturing environment is desirable.
• ISO 9001 experience is desirable.
• Good working knowledge of office software (Excel, Word etc).
• Excellent problem solving & decision making skills.
• Experience with report writing, evaluation of products, and interpretation of test results.
