The Role:
• Provide technical support to technicians and production operators.
• Provides technical support to outsource suppliers.
• Maintain communication with outsource suppliers.
• Maintain and improve the manufacturing quality and cost
• Review and develop testing procedure and guidelines
• Investigate cause of production defects.
• Optimize layout of the factory
• Perform additional duties and project required by Factory Engineering Manager
What the company is looking for in the successful candidate:
• Qualified to HNC engineering or equivalent is required, degree level education desirable
• 2 year experience in a high volume-manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Optical Disc manufacturer is desirable.
• Basic skill of CAD is desirable
• Highly skilled on the PLC front and CAD would be desirable (especially Siemens step 5 & step 7 and ladder programming)
