The role: -
• Manages the Health, Safety & Environmental function to ensure all obligations are met as set out in EU Directives, UK Legislation and Company requirements.
• Design and implement policies that meet legal obligations meeting industry best practices and striving for continuous improvement.
• Provide advice, guidance, training, support in all Health, Safety & Environmental matters to the business as required to meet Best Practice and UK Legislation.
What the company are seeking from the successful candidate:
• Previous experience in an Environmental role.
• Previous experience in a Health & Safety management role.
• Experience gained from within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience of ISO 14001/ 2004 essential.
• Experience of ISO 18001 advantageous .
• Environmental/H&S Management degree/Member IEMA.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
• Corporate Membership of IOSH (desirable)
