The Role:
• Design/Develop electronic circuits for PCBs of new products from concept to mass production.
• Design electronic circuits to meet specification from customers/software section.
• Liaise with PCB layout engineers/Mechanical engineers to fix PCB layout to company standards
• Liaise with suppliers to introduce PCB assembly to mass production
• Evaluate performance of new PCBs and find countermeasures to problems
• Investigate PCB-related performance issues of existing products and implement countermeasures to problems.
• Evaluate and introduce new electronic components for existing products.
What the company is looking for in the successful candidate:
• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronics engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Some use of basic test equipment and soldering equipment.
