Technical Support Engineer - Wales. Intapeople are working exclusively on behalf of a vibrant and growing organisation that is currently seeking a versatile 1st, 2nd and 3rd line Technical Support Engineer based near Blackwood, South Wales.
You will join a very friendly working environment and work alongside another Engineer that makes up the IT department. Together you will be responsible for the entire support of the site from 1st line pc support , network issues through to server support. Some of the larger project type work is outsourced.
You should have a solid background of hands on support, you will mostly be responsible for maintenance of the infrastructure and day to day IT solutions. Any website design skills would also be handy but not essential. A background within a manufacturing environment would be great or any experience with ERP systems but it's not absolutely necessary. As long as you're a good communicator who is confident with a whole range of support issues from general pc problems to server maintenance we'd love to hear from you.
This is a fairly urgent position with a start date before Christmas highly possible if you are available - otherwise we can wait for up to a 1 month notice period.
We feel this role is easily commutable from Newport, Cardiff, Pontypool, Cwmbran, Caerphilly, Abercynon, Blackwood and Ebbw Vale.
