An e-Soucing Consultant, working on behalf a Professional Procurement Services business which specialises in e-Sourcing, employing the best in class Oracle e-Sourcing.
What will you actually be doing?
Delivering e-Sourcing projects and strategic procurement consulting, working independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will contribute in pre-sales activity from initial client engagement through to proposal /contract and include preparation and delivery of buy-side / sell-side training. Combination of consulting and industry experience is preferred.
Your responsibilities will include…
• To facilitate and support eSourcing process for low, mid-level and high level spend catagories for the customer.
• Support cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, customer stakeholders and suppliers.
• Support supplier relationship management for eSourcing spend catagories.
• Deliver training sessions and demonstrations to customer on eSourcing technologies.
• Undertake business analysis capturing historical and potential future spend demand within the customer.
• Develop specific adoption plans for eSourcing technologies.
• Perform tactical duties associated with generally accepted eSoucing processes.
Requirements:
• Must have 2-5 years direct purchasing/procurement experience across broad catagories, as a (senior) buyer in either or both Public & Private sector.
• Must have sound project management – ability to demonstrate good organisation and planning, through project life cycle.
• Professional presentation, facilitation, verbal and written skills with the ability to tailor to any level audience.
• Results orientated self starter with accountability. Ability to take action and produce desired outcomes with little direct supervision.
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft office and CRM e-Soucing tools.
• Member or Associate Member of CIPS – (Preferred)
• Educated to a degree standard.
Package:
£35k - £40k dependant on experience.
40hrs per week
23 days holidays in year 1, increased to 25 thereafter
Up to £4800 Car allowance
