    Position: IT Sales Manager
    Salary: Up to $100,000 basic, + $9,000 Car Allowance + Bonus
    Benefits: Full benefits package

They have offices around the world where it services "reseller services" not only in the UK, but also in North America, throughout Europe, the Middle East, as well as in Asia-Pacific and the Far East. My client has built its reputation based on its in-depth technical expertise and by maintaining its focus on continuous professional staff training, now counting many major organisations amongst its growing client base.

    Due to my client's prestigious business gains and sustained growth in their client base, a need has arisen to appoint a dynamic, outgoing and career driven Sales Manager. The role will include establishing a brand new division for my client in order for them to capitalize on the growing â?(oe)unified communications marketâ? selling primarily but not exclusively into their existing yet extensive global client base.

    My client is vendor-independent, and takes great care to offer each customer the very best solution available, tailored to their specific requirements and their vendor Partners include; Cisco, HP ProCurve and other leading brands.

    Travel within the UK or possibly abroad may be required from time to time.
    Regular training is offered and expected.

    Key Responsibilities:
    a) Lead the team to maximise business development, achieving targets and increasing revenues/profit.
    b) Managed development of a cohesive, high-performing team.
    c) Lead and manage the Sales & Marketing Plan.
    d) In conjunction with the Technical team, shape, specify and deliver client solutions.
    e) Achieve key performance indicators, as laid down in the Strategic Business Plan.
    f) In conjunction with the Board, contribute to the formulation of key business decisions.

    Knowledge/Experience:
    a) Extensive sales experience within the IT sector, preferably including network technologies.
    b) A proven track record of managing high performing teams and the achievement of results is essential.
    c) You will be able to demonstrate a high level of business and commercial acumen and be able to liaise comfortably, effectively and professionally at all levels.
    d) You will possess a can-do attitude and conduct business pragmatically.
    e) An assertive individual that can take creative ideas and make them serve a
    practical purpose.
