Our client is a very well established and reputable South Wales law firm who are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Assistant to join their Cardiff office.
The role will be to support the Director and Business Development Managers where appropriate with a strong emphasis on research of clients and prospects.
The main responsibilities will be:-
· To act as a main point of contact for all research requests for the Business Development team;
· Co-ordinate all relevant contacts of the Business Development team to feed to the CRM Assistant;
· Assist with the production and layout of capability documents and tenders;
· Preparation of packs for client meetings;
· Keeping the testimonials database up-to-date;
· Keeping the deals database up-to-date to use in tenders and marketing literature.
· Work with the Business Development & Marketing team to develop and help maintain a Client Relationship Management system.
The successful candidate must have good organisational skills and enjoy carrying out business research and analysis. You should also have the desire to learn the necessary skills, to pursue a career in business development.
You should possess excellent communication skills, good written skills and have an eye for detail.
You will also be required to work as part of a team and therefore good inter-personal skills are essential for this role.
