    Wanted…

    A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Sales Executive to
    add to a growing team within an established company in Cardiff, South Wales.

    Who are you?

    The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar position and possess and
    excellent business development track record.

    • Able to analysis of financial data and understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance
    • Good understanding of business operations
    • Effective and successful negotiation skills
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills
    • Must be a proficient user of MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Access
    • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
    • Able to spend one or two nights away per month

    What will you actually be doing?

    The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing new business within the market services in many different settings. The role will assist to continue to ensure the commercial success of the business. The successful candidate will also be involved with identifying new markets and business opportunities.

    Your responsibilities will include…

    • Maintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect database.
    • Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
    • Develop ideas and create offers for direct mail and marketing to major accounts by
    market sector.
    • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, email and personal visits.
    • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
    • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
    • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
    • Attend meetings/networking functions necessary to aid business and organisational development.
    • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

    Reward

    £19k - £22k plus benefits with a generous benefits package.
