- Manage projects in the areas of NPD, Process and Cost Reduction.
- To provide Technical Support and advice to the factory.
- To enhance or develop products and processes.
- Identify and develop process improvements alongside operations
- Project manage product development from concept kitchen to launch & first few weeks production.
- Participate in milestone/project planning.
- Check packaging, artwork, ingredients, life tests, legal aspects, company/customer policy, nutritional information, codes of practice, procurement issues, etc are compliant, (as applicable to NPD, process and cost reduction projects undertaken).
What the company is looking for in the successful candidate:
- Degree/HND qualified in a food related discipline desirable
- Understanding of the fundamentals of food processing
- Experience of microbiology/legal codes of practice, and Sound knowledge of HACCP.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, able to drive changes, and identify possible upgrades
- Reliable, honest professional who works well under pressure.
- Can do attitude
- Effective project management skills
