An internationally distinguished group, specialising in fast moving consumer goods is looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to add to its growing team. Currently undergoing a large investment and expansion, this company offers a varied role including project work and will provide an excellent challenge for a career minded maintenance engineer.
A mechanically biased, multi-skilled maintenance engineer from a manufacturing background is required to sustain their automated systems using their knowledge and background experience.
Role & Responsibilities:
oMaintaining automated production machinery
oMechanically biased, multi-skilled role
oWorking on breakdowns and PPM
oProject work including new line installation and upgrades
oEquipment on site includes drives, conveyors, pumps, valves, pipework, steam equipment, single and 3 phase electrics, PLC's and SCADA, inverters etc
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
oTime served, multi-skilled background, preferably with a mechanical bias
oHNC level or equivalent experience
oExperience in a food or chemical process environment is beneficial
Benefits Package:
o£27,000-£29,000 + overtime
oDays regular shifts, but flexibility required
o24hr callout one week in three
