A leading manufacturer of complex mechanical components is looking to add to its progressive engineering quality team. Providing to an international supplier base, this company has an enviable reputation as a market leader in their field across the globe. An experienced, self motivated Senior Quality Engineer is required to ensure their recognised standards are upheld throughout the business.
Role & Responsibilities:
oSenior Quality Engineer role
oResponsible for between 2-4 quality engineers/technicians
oOverseeing product conformance quality and standards (ISO 9001 and industry specific standards)
oNew product quality and project responsibility, including APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, SPC and PFMEA
oCustomer quality handling (quality liaison, returns, complaints)
oSupplier quality responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
oExperienced quality background
oGood knowledge of a mechanical manufacturing marketplace
oSupervisory experience is preferred
oAny APQP, PPAP, FMEA usage etc is desired
