My client is a world leading blue chip manufacturer for the defence industry. They are currently looking to recruit experienced Manufacturing Engineer to assist in the upgrade and improvement of capital equipment on site. This is an ideal opportunity for a talented engineer to develop their career with a rewarding and challenging employer.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Assist capital improvement schemes in commissioning and specification of new machinery
*Creation of documentation, procedure, manufacturing instructions, safety and risk assessments to ensure safe systems of work
*Generate equipment specifications and business cases for capital schemes
*Liaison with procurement departments
*Planning commissioning projects

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
oIdeally degree/ HND qualified in mechanical or production engineering
oExperience in factory and capital improvements advantageous
oKnowledge of NEBOSH, Risk assessments and FMEA also desirable
