An Audit / Accounts Semi Senior is required at this independent firm in Cardiff, offering a challenging opportunity to work and study for further Accountancy qualifications.
Your role will involve acting as the Semi Senior for audit assignments, going to clients with an Audit Senior and carrying out the audit fieldwork. You will also be involved with the planning and completion stages of the audit (being groomed for an Audit Senior role in the future), but you must also be able to prepare draft accounts from incomplete records.
You will ideally be AAT Qualified or Part Qualified ACA or ACCA and currently be undertaking a mixed role - having exposure to audit, accounts and tax assignments. You will now be looking to step up and work for a firm that will give you more responsibility to challenge yourself.
This firm has been successful in gaining new clients and as such will be able to offer you plenty of opportunities to progress, but also to work on large clients with turnovers over £5m. You will also gain exposure to interesting ad hoc projects when they arise, making for a highly interesting and varied role.
